Scenario planning is the process of laying out a hypothetical situation or perspective in order to better understand a frame of reference or anticipate changes in the business environment. Knowledge management (KM) leaders can use scenario planning to think about impending changes that will impact KM and analyze the needs of employees who use KM tools and approaches.
