Risk within the supply chain has become a growing concern for many organizations. Although natural disasters such as tsunamis and inclement weather often get the most attention, organizations should also be concerned with risks that can impact the systems supporting their day-to-day operations. One such risk is the potential for IT disruptions.
APQC recently conducted a survey to gauge the current state of IT risk in the supply chain. As the infographic below shows, many of the survey respondents don’t know how often their organizations evaluate supply chain resiliency. Many of the respondents are also unsure of whether their organizations have taken steps to add rigor to their resiliency assessments.
