The new Process Classification Framework (PCF) version 6.0.0 is available. Likely, you know the benefits that can result from implementing it into your organization, but figuring out how to get started can be overwhelming. If this is the case, you’re not alone. The first case study suggestions come from an APQC content collection called Using Process Frameworks and Reference Models to Get Real Work Done. These pieces include studies of the following organizations:
Three additional case studies may be useful as they offer different approaches to how the Process Classification Framework can be tailored to fit an organization’s unique needs. These articles include:
- Marathon Oil Corporation: APQC's Process Classification Framework in Action,
- Aligning by Process Across a Large Enterprise, and
- Organizing Enterprise-Wide IT Efforts Using APQC's Process Classification Framework.
Has your organization implemented the PCF? How are you using it? We would love to hear about it. Leave us a comment.
