APQC has updated its popular report on procurement benchmarks and improved procurement processes. APQC’s Blueprint for Success: Procurement (Second Edition) now features new company examples and updated data on procurement performance metrics.
Some of the measures highlighted in the report are:
- total cost of the procurement cycle,
- total number of active suppliers, and
- percentage of supplier orders delivered on time.
The report includes detailed calculations of the measures that show you how to measure your organization’s procurement performance. The report also highlights helpful practices that APQC’s data shows are correlated with better performance and examples of how companies have implemented these practices to achieve significant results.
Finally, the report includes Section 4.0 (Deliver Products and Services) from APQC’s Process Classification Framework (PCF), which outlines the processes and activities involved in supply chain management.
