This measure determines the average pick-to-ship cycle time in hours for customer orders. Cycle time begins when an order is released to be picked from the warehouse and continues until the order has been shipped. It does not include the time in transit of shipment until delivery to the customer. This measure is part of a set of Cycle Time measures that help companies analyze the duration of the process "operate warehousing" from beginning to end.
