Annual value of unmanaged/maverick spend on direct materials and services as a percentage of total unmanaged/maverick spend

This measure calculates rogue/maverick spend on direct materials/services as a percentage of total rogue/maverick spend. Total spend, in addition to spending on direct and indirect materials and services, should include relevant discretionary and non-discretionary expenses (e.g. taxes, regulatory fees, legal judgments, other required spend). Rogue/Maverick/Unmanaged spend (procurement); Direct materials and services are procured items and activities used to directly produce a product. Direct materials and services include raw materials and any additional services necessary to convert raw materials to finished goods. This Supplemental Information measure is intended to help companies evaluate additional variables related to the process group "Procure materials and services".
