Sales and Marketing Performance Assessment
Assess the role, maturity, and effectiveness of your corporate sales and marketing function by completing the Sales and Marketing Open Standards Benchmarking Assessment.
Sales and marketing are both some of the most important functions within an organization as they both impact lead generation and revenue.
Your organization’s performance will be compared with other organizations in our database on sales and marketing key performance indicators including wallet share, customer retention rate, Net Promoter Score, percentage of marketing spending through various channels and average return on investment for marketing spend through those differing channels.
Key performance measures included:
- Number of FTEs that perform the process "manage sales orders" per $1 billion revenue
- Percentage of customers who can name brand in unaided recall test
- Average time in weeks to develop and launch a new marketing campaign (from ideation to the delivery of an offer/message to a customer/prospect)
All submissions to APQC's benchmarking database, both Open Standards Benchmarking and Rapid Performance Assessments, must be collected using APQC's easy-to-use Microsoft Excel data collection instruments. Please download a fresh copy of the assessment file by clicking the “Download Survey to Start Assessment” button.
Each benchmarking assessment offers an Excel-based data collection tool consisting of the survey itself, the measures associated with the survey, the glossary terms needed to understand the survey, and a copy of the Process Classification Framework (PCF) relevant to the data collection instrument. The consolidated data collection tool is intended to simplify the collection of benchmarking data within your organization.
