Risk and Contingency Analysis
Course Description
During this course, participants will learn how to conduct a process risk analysis to identify and assess factors that may jeopardize successful performance. Examples from APQC member organizations will be used to illustrate the importance of this technique in building more resilient processes and identifying how managers and workers should be prepared to handle circumstances that may occur during the performance of work.
Learning Outcomes
- Identify process risks
- Evaluate how to mitigate (lessen or remove) risks
- Plan for contingencies - who, what, when - when risks happen during the performance of work
Audience
Process owners, process designers, SMEs, and improvement specialists who document current and future state processes.
As an IACET Accredited Provider, APQC offers between .4 and .8 CEUs for this course that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.
