Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, also known as sustainability reporting, covers a broad range of topics and involves complex data. This reporting is essential to providing updates to stakeholders of all kinds, including investors, regulatory agencies, customers, and employees. It provides an important platform for companies to show their commitment to ethical performance.
Take a comprehensive look at how your organization is performing against relevant peer groups’ by completing the ESG Reporting Open Standards Benchmarking Assessment and uncover opportunities related to:
- activities to compile, validate, and report ESG results
- compliance with relevant laws and frameworks, both mandatory and voluntary
- internal activities related to audits of ESG reports
For this assessment, unless otherwise stated, ESG reporting refers to your main external ESG or sustainability report, most likely an annual publication. If your main external report is issued in multiple documents, consider all of them. And if your ESG report is integrated into your full annual report, consider only the ESG elements when responding to this assessment.
