The Talent Acquisition Technology Revolution: Inside the Practices of Recruiting Top Performers
Advanced technology is revolutionizing the way recruiters and talent strategists work. Technologies like automation and analytics, which have already been in use for some time, are growing increasingly more advanced and accessible, taking over highly manual tasks once carried out by humans and freeing up time for more strategic work.
Many leading organizations have already adopted, implemented, and optimized their use of technology to drive better talent acquisition outcomes, leading to a competitive edge in the talent marketplace. The differences between these organizations and technology laggards are increasingly coming into focus.
As part of its survey analysis, APQC compared the talent acquisition practices of participating organizations with the best performance outcomes (which we call “top performers”) to the practices of organizations with the lowest performance outcomes (“bottom performers”). Through this analysis, statistically significant differences were found between talent acquisition top and bottom performers, particularly when it comes to technology.
This whitepaper highlights some of the most significant differences we found between top and bottom performers in order to highlight the ways in which leading organizations implement and use key talent acquisition technologies.
