Sustainability is a billion-dollar buzzword with a budget problem. While many organizations say that sustainability is of vital importance to the business, their budgetary priorities say otherwise.
APQC gathered data and insights from 2,500 global services and goods providers about their sustainability operations and reporting. More than half of the organizations in this research describe environmental performance as very important or even mission critical for financial success—but median spend is only 0.3% of organizational revenue.
