Supply Chain Integration
In the past two decades, companies have been aggressively engaging in integrative activities. However, studies indicate that many integration initiatives end in failure. Prior research illustrates that failed integration initiatives can adversely impact the operational and financial performance of both firms involved in a relationship.
A large number of studies have been published pertaining to the concept of supply chain integration, but there is little understanding whether there are multiple levels of integration and whether some relational behaviors are more prevalent or intense at one level than another.
