Achieving process excellence across a global organization requires more than technology or procedures. It depends on clarity, accountability, and a culture of shared ownership. At Regeneron, this vision took shape through the creation of the company’s first global Process Owner Network (PON), developed in partnership with process, knowledge, and change management experts.

The journey began with benchmarking against leading frameworks and adapting them to Regeneron’s unique environment. The result was a scalable model that reduced average revision cycle time by 25 percent, improved compliance, and established clear ownership for hundreds of processes. Governance models, process simulations, and data dashboards helped translate complexity into clarity, enabling faster decisions and stronger cross-functional alignment.

At the end of this session, participants were able to:

  • Describe key success factors and pitfalls of implementing a global Process Owner Network and apply those lessons to their own organization.
  • Identify common challenges in launching a global Process Owner Network and use practical strategies to navigate them.
  • Demonstrate program management techniques by completing a mini-simulation that mirrors the steps for launching a Process Owner Network.

The session included an interactive mini-simulation and RASCI mapping exercise to help attendees apply these lessons and build a practical roadmap for process ownership in their own organizations.
