Monitoring, Sensing, and Preparing for Supply Chain Risks: Retail and Wholesale Industry

APQC collaborated with BCG to conduct research with 185 companies to evaluate the current state of a full range of operational and supply chain resilience capabilities needed to thrive. This survey-based research gathered quantitative data as well as information on practices related to establishing visibility and assessing risk.

This report provides a retail and wholesale industry snapshot of monitoring, sensing, and preparing for supply chain risks. It examines approaches to evaluating an asset network, supply chain monitoring capabilities, use of a contingency playbook, and current and future resiliency levers.
