This article summarizes insights from author and forecasting SME Steve Morlidge, Ph.D.,  based on his new book Present Sense, to discuss fundamental concepts, effective strategies, and best-practices for effective visual communication in reporting. In the context of the article, “Present Sense” is about the ability to meaningfully analyze an organization’s performance, and the ability to present that understanding in a way that can be easily and quickly assimilated by decision makers.
