Logistics Flexibility and Transparency: Retail and Wholesale Industry

APQC collaborated with BCG to conduct research with 185 companies to evaluate the current state of a full range of operational and supply chain resilience capabilities needed to thrive. This survey-based research gathered quantitative data as well as information on practices related to establishing visibility and assessing risk.

This report provides a retail and wholesale industry snapshot of flexibility and transparency in logistics. It examines the balance between risk and efficiency in logistics, the use of various approaches to managing labor issues at plants and warehouses, and the transparency of various key statuses from logistics suppliers and warehouses/distribution centers.
