Culture and Leadership Provide Support for New Product or Service Development

APQC and Stage-Gate International conducted a study on whether organizations are mastering the four key drivers of innovation performance that comprise the Innovation Performance FrameworkTM:

  • product innovation strategy,
  • portfolio management,
  • idea-to-launch process, and
  • culture and leadership.

As part of the research, a quantitative questionnaire was administered that focused on the four drivers. This article looks at how participants responded on questions related to how their culture and leadership supports innovation.
