In March 2020, APQC and Supply Chain Management Review collected information from 90 global supply chain professionals about the current state of disruptions within their supply chains. Supply chain disruptions are defined as major breakdowns in the sourcing, production, or distribution nodes that comprise a supply chain.

This data reflects the global pandemic underway, with 83 percent of respondents experiencing either a major or minor disruption from public health concerns. The second largest source of disruptions is governmental regulations.
