Matt Zacher

As a senior consultant for APQC’s Advisory Services group, Matt Zacher manages process improvement and knowledge management (KM) projects for APQC’s Advisory Services team. A subject matter expert in both process and performance management (PPM) and knowledge management, Matt also lends his expertise to APQC clients as an instructor for trainings and workshops.

Matt works with organizations to assess capabilities and performance, develop strategies and action plans, and drive improvement projects. His hands-on work with clients supports projects focused on assessing and developing process management and knowledge management strategies and programs. In this role, he also manages, researches, and reports on custom benchmarks, both quantitative and qualitative.

Before becoming part of the APQC team in 2016, Matt spent 10 years as a Certified Financial Planner at leading financial firms and three years in project and change management in the high-tech manufacturing industry.  

Matt is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He spent eight years in the U.S. Army Infantry, leading soldiers at the platoon and company level.
