Marisa Brown is a Senior Principal Research Lead at APQC, where she directs research in supply chain, innovation, and product development. With 30 years of experience, she is a recognized authority on supply chain performance and benchmarking, advising global member organizations and senior leaders on how to turn data and best practices into measurable business results.
During her tenure at APQC, Marisa has led global, cross-industry research initiatives examining how leading organizations design, manage, and continuously improve their supply chains and product development processes. Her work focuses on identifying practical, evidence-based approaches that enable organizations to improve resilience, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment, helping leaders turn insight into action.
Marisa is a certified Thought Leadership Producer through the Global Thought Leadership Institute (GTLI). She holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and certifications from the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics. In addition, she serves on the Supply Chain Industry Advisory Board at the University of Houston.
She is a regular contributor to Supply Chain Management Review, where she authors the “Benchmarks” column, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events.
