Dewey Dorsett

Since joining APQC in 2015, Dewey Dorsett has helped organizations improve performance by aligning transformation and change initiatives with strategic business goals. As a senior advisor in APQC's Advisory Services group, he partners with clients to strengthen process and performance management, knowledge management, change management, and organizational effectiveness. In addition to leading improvement initiatives, Dewey is a highly regarded instructor who delivers APQC training programs and helps professionals build practical skills in process management and continuous improvement.
A certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Dewey has led organizational transformation and productivity initiatives since 1996 across service, transaction, manufacturing, and public sector environments. His expertise includes process management, process improvement, knowledge management, strategic planning, program design and execution, data analytics, and team facilitation. He also teaches APQC's Process Management courses and Process Manager Certification, drawing on decades of experience helping organizations translate best practices into measurable business results.
Before joining APQC, Dewey served as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with Air Products and Chemicals and previously worked as a consultant with Meritus, LLC, a joint venture between IBM and Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, before managing his own consulting practice for 13 years. Throughout his career, he has trained executives and improvement professionals around the world and has extensive experience working with leadership teams across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
