Cross-functional communities of practice (CoPs) are among the most pervasive and well-regarded approaches to facilitate expertise location, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. This Community Call discusses the results of APQC's fifth best practices study on this topic to understand how CoPs are evolving, including strategic role, community roles and responsibilities, tools and approaches used in communities, encouraging engagement in communities, and techniques for measuring community health and value.
