Steve Player

Steve is the Founder of The Player Group and a subject matter expert and consultant with APQC. Steve's company, The Player Group, is devoted to helping clients improve cost and productivity management. Additionally, The Player Group manages leading edge best practices research in to advanced ABM implementations and beyond budgeting applications. Steve also serves as the founder and program director for the ABM Advanced Implementation Group and as Program Director for the Beyond Budgeting Round Table in North America. Steve  is the co-author/editor of five books on Activity-Based Management and currently writes a monthly “Finance Transformation” feature for Business Finance Magazine in which he interviews CFOs from leading organizations on innovative finance and planning processes. Additionally, Steve has served as a monthly columnist on cost management for Controller Magazine.
