Christine Kelley

Director, Membership

As membership director, Christine Kelley’s primary focus is to ensure that APQC’s approximately 500 members receive maximum value and satisfaction from the benefits of their APQC memberships.  Her ultimate measure of success is determined by the retention or renewal rate of member organizations.

Christine draws on her more than 10 years’ experience in membership and spends considerable time identifying, understanding, and representing APQC members’ needs. She conducts annual satisfaction surveys via email, engages in regular telephone interviews and updates with members, and seeks out member input on new ideas. She participates in cross-functional teams to gain additional insights on what members like to see and value and leads projects to provide members new products and services.

Before joining APQC in 2009, Christine served as chief strategy officer for Delegate Solutions, a strategic support firm serving executives. She provided general management, marketing, and strategic planning support to the founder and chief executive officer, while managing research and competitive intelligence projects for clients.

Earlier in her career, she was manager of membership and marketing for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives, where she developed and implemented strategic marketing communication plans for the organization's global education events and conferences. She also spent several years as a membership marketing specialist for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and its Center for Association Leadership.

Christine earned an international Master of Business Administration degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Business degree in marketing from Texas A&M University. She is a member of ASAE and sits on the organization’s Membership Section Council.
