As the pace and scale of organizational change continues to grow, so does the need for formal change management. Organizations have made significant investments in change planning, resources, and methods, but many still struggle to drive new behaviors and widespread adoption.

To learn about today’s change management challenges and how organizations overcome them, APQC surveyed 197 professionals and conducted in-depth case studies of best-practice organizations. This report examines the change management sub-topic—leadership—and explores the maturity model for leadership and its components: sponsorship and role and driving effective leadership.
