A skills taxonomy is a standard framework that provides a common language for skills and maps their connection to other skills as well as jobs. With a common language to describe and classify skills, a skills taxonomy makes it easier for organizations, employees, and job candidates to see what skills might be needed for a given job and how skills may be transferrable to other jobs. This article:
