Total greenhouse gas emissions (in tonnes CO2e) per $1 billion revenue

This measure calculates the total greenhouse gas emitted (in tonnes CO2e) for $1 billion revenue. Carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) indicates the amount of CO2 emissions in metric tons with the same global warming potential as one metric ton of another greenhouse gas. CO2e is calculated using Equation A-1 in 40 CFR Part 98, aggregating the mass of each greenhouse gas in metric tons per year multiplied by each respective gas's global warming potential. This Supplemental Information measure is intended to help companies evaluate additional variables related to the process "Evaluate environmental impact of products, services, and operations".
