Average time in hours to resolve highest priority problems for the current year
This measure calculates the average number of hours it takes to resolve the highest priority problem (of all application breaks or fixes) for the current year. It tracks the time between the first formal report of the problem and when an agreement is reached that resolves the problem. Break/fix problem refers to the fee-for-service method of providing information to business. This measure is part of a set of Cycle Time measures that help companies analyze the duration of the process "develop and maintain information technology solutions" from beginning to end.
