In a November 2018 Agile Amped podcast, Steve Player, APQC financial management senior research fellow and program director for BBRTNA/Live Future Ready, discussed 12 principles for evolving beyond budgeting. According to Player, traditional budgeting can be a silent killer because it does not offer flexibility in the face of change. The good news is that any organization, regardless of its size or scale, can adopt these principles and effectively move beyond traditional budgeting.
