Education systems devote significant resources to Assessment and Reporting on Student Achievement. Yet, the traditional processes for Assessment can leave an incomplete picture of student progression. The processes for capturing Assessment data and then reporting on them can be quite time consuming.  Additionally, parents and stakeholders often complain about the information, or lack thereof, contained in the Assessment Reports. Aitken College, a K-12 independent school in Victoria, Australia, set about improving how it assessed its students and how student progression was tracked and reported on. The result, while still a work in progress, has been quite transformative for both staff, parents and students.
