This case study, part of APQC's "Knowledge Mapping in Action" research, details the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC)’s knowledge mapping initiative. Since 2012, ARDEC has used knowledge mapping to understand common knowledge needs across its directorates, identify gaps in critical knowledge, and find opportunities to improve knowledge flow and reuse across the enterprise.
