Evaluating Investments and Outcomes in High-Potential Finance Talent Programs: Research Overview

The skill sets required for future finance leaders are changing, and organizations need to focus on growing their internal high-potential talent pipelines to fit those needs. These new future finance leaders must be data-driven, tech-savvy, and at ease with a more analytical and strategic role. A critical path to building these future leaders is to send them through a targeted talent development program that goes beyond traditional finance and accounting knowledge. APQC examined the current state of investments in high-potential finance talent programs to determine how organizations are doing in building this pipeline of future leaders.
