A strong knowledge management(KM) business case is key to establishing a KM program with a direction and purpose. A business case defines exactly what the KM program is designed to achieve  , what resources it will require, and what benefits it will generate. Every KM program should have a business case, and as KM maturity increases, the business case for KM will grow stronger, clearer, and more compelling.
