Where, how, and even when people work is a topic of interest and debate amongst organizations. They often struggle with decisions around remote workers, flex schedules, and even which technology investments need to be made.
In September 2016, 1,046 people participated in APQC’s Envisioning the Workspace of the Future survey. The research was designed to help organizations understand how looming technological and cultural shifts may influence their priorities and investments. Of those 1,046 survey participants, 241 were from process and performance management functions (e.g., process, performance, project, and quality management). This article explores and baselines the current and level of flexibility of the work environment (location and hours) for process and performance management professionals.
