APQC’s Putting Knowledge in the Flow of Work Best Practices Study investigated which technology solutions support the integration of knowledge management (KM) into daily work. However, the study team found that KM programs should focus on people, process, and technology—in that order. Rather than implementing the latest and greatest technology solutions, best-practice organizations select tools that fit their existing processes and cultures.
