Using the PCF to Standardize Processes-Syngenta Case Study

Historically Syngenta, is a global agriculture company, was characterized by two distinct business lines, which included separate support functions, payrolls, and processes. A few years ago Syngenta embarked on a transformational change project aimed at unifying the businesses, remodeling its process management approach, and developing standardized processes across the organization. This case study looks at how Syngenta used APQC's Process Classification® (PCF) as a reference tool for its efforts to define, standardize, and manage the performance of its business processes.
