Use Mentoring As a Springboard to Build Employees’ Professional Networks
Usually, the term "mentoring" refers to a one-on-one relationship in which one person shares advice or expertise with another. This definition holds true for most of the organizations featured in APQC's Workplace Mentoring study. However, several of the organizations find ways to leverage one-on-one mentorships to help employees connect with a wider range of colleagues and broaden their professional networks enterprise-wide.
