Three Skills For Your KM Team To Develop Right Now

APQC conducted its annual research survey in early 2023 to identify the top objectives and priorities facing Knowledge Management professionals. As part of this research, KM respondents were asked to indicate the skillsets that KM should put emphasis on at the moment.

In this article, we focus on the top three key skills identified by respondents: change management, design thinking, and storytelling. All three of these skillsets are essential to KM's role as a strategic partner to the business and to secure future resources and support. In 2023 and beyond, companies will increasingly use advanced technologies like AI to improve knowledge resources, demonstrating the value of these skills.
