Schools invest significant time and resources into assessment and reporting, but traditional processes often generate an incomplete picture of student achievement and progression. This makes it difficult for teachers to tailor their approaches and help students achieve the best possible outcomes.

In a 2019 APQC education webinar, representatives from Independent Schools Victoria, Christ Church Grammar School, and Aitken College discussed how they developed meaningful assessment and reporting. This article summarizes their experiences in redesigning assessment and reporting to create positive outcomes for students, families, teachers, and schools.
