Digital and data are all the rage. Yet, everyday work realities are still very much shaped by people. The action or inaction of other people can make it easier or more challenging for individuals to achieve their goals at work. In 2016, APQC conducted a short survey to find out what people challenges individuals are encountering at work and to learn how these challenges are impacting individual work outcomes.
This report reveals the top people challenges at work today and the effect these are having on workers and organizations. It presents three types of interventions that are needed and offers guidance for how people managers and leaders, in particular, can facilitate these changes.
