Humans and Technology Together Define the Future Enterprise as “The Humachine”

In February of 2020, APQC hosted Nada Sanders, Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Management at D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, on a supply chain management webinar to discuss some of the challenges that organizations face as they undertake digital transformation and what true success with technology looks like.
Drawing insights from a wealth of published articles in leading scholarly journals; her work advising numerous organizations; and her co-authored book The Humachine: Humankind, Machines, and the Future of Enterprise; Sanders’ focus throughout the webinar was on the ways that humans and machines can work in a complementary fashion to drive better outcomes for organizations.
