Applying sophisticated algorithms and machine learning to billions of search queries per day allows commercial search applications like Google and Bing to set the bar very high for enterprise search. Yet, despite great strides, employees still complain that they can’t find what they need. This article discusses the potential for cognitive computing technology to revolutionize how employees search and interact with enterprise data and content.
