The evidence is clear. Most corporate wellness programs are falling short when it comes to improving employee health, boosting employee productivity, and reducing employer health care expenditures. Employer spending on financial incentives to get employees to participate continues to rise as employees resist what they see as intrusive, inconvenient, and unhelpful programs.
