In APQC's Workplace Mentoring study on workplace mentoring, the research team observed a broad spectrum of how employee mentorships are designed, structured, administered, and supported. That said, one theme across the programs is that each has a clearly defined business purpose tied to specific mentee learning objectives and associated business outcomes.
