This presentation from APQC's 2019 KM Conference explores how a global healthcare solutions company, Medtronic, launched a knowledge management program that they call “FIND Portal”. The program was driven by employee frustration from lack of visibility of the organization’s knowledge, and the time it took to find the information that was needed. This program leverages several components including existing technology, a proven internal knowledge-sharing culture, and knowledge management programs.
