Continuous Global Risk Monitoring for Supply Chain Disruptions

In this article, we review benchmarking data from APQC on the technologies that leading organizations leverage to monitor and track supply chain risk. We’ve found that the savviest organizations have sophisticated risk monitoring systems that provide important intelligence not only for supplier risk, but also for second- and third-tier supplier risk as well. Plenty of other organizations, however, are taking on unnecessary risk by not having any risk monitoring systems in place at all. As we examine the benefits of these technologies for risk monitoring, we also point out the cost and time savings they bring to procurement more broadly.
