At APQC's 2015 MENA Conference in Dubai, APQC CEO Carla O'Dell shared some lessons from two decades of APQC’s KM work with some of the best knowledge-driven organizations in the world. Even the most advanced companies face problems such as the loss of experts and rapidly changing technologies, said O’Dell. And KM can help. Organizations just starting in KM can realize a higher return on their KM investment and make fewer mistakes if they learn from best practices. In her presentation, O’Dell touched on reasons organizations manage knowledge and best practices for a KM program that produce business results.
