Allison Transmission Capitalizes on the Opportunity to Develop an Enterprise Process Framework

At APQC's 2015 Process Conference, Claire Wybrow, a business architect at Allegient LLC, and Jeff Mooers, an IT manager in business services at Allison Transmission Holdings Inc. (ATI), described their experience developing an enterprise process framework at ATI. Entitled, "Capitalizing on the Enterprise Process Opportunity," their presentation focused on the development process, which spanned two and a half years. In addition to describing fundamental decisions made along the way, the presenters outline three key tenets to building an enterprise process framework also called names such as "model," "blueprint," and "architecture."
