The organizations involved in APQC’s 2014-2015 KM Advanced Working Group (AWG) share a common challenge: to keep the rate of learning across their workforces greater than or equal to the rate of change. During AWG meetings, participants shared unique and common approaches to accelerating the rate of learning at their organizations. Drawing upon these discussions, the AWG defined the top 10 elements of a comprehensive learning program for organizations with technical employees.
This article highlights the AWG’s core ideas and observations about each learning program element. Case examples are provided where appropriate.
