Project Manager, Custom Benchmarking
As a project manager for APQC’s Advisory Service team, Jonathan Kraft manages, researches, and reports on custom benchmarks, both quantitative and qualitative, as well as supports client projects focused on assessing and developing process management and knowledge management strategies and programs. He also writes and edits research studies on benchmarking and metrics as well as contributes to the APQC benchmarking blog.
Jonathan has created and executed APQC’s business excellence research agenda, creating research projects focusing on benchmarking, framework usage, and process improvement as part of his role as a Research Program Manager for APQC. His past projects have focused on overcoming organizational resistance, organizational implementation of APQC’s Process Classification Framework®, and centralization vs. decentralization. He developed and posted a robust series of benchmarking articles and overviews as part of The Value of Benchmarking collection on APQC’s Knowledge Base.
Before joining APQC in 2012, Jonathan was regional director at Sageworks, introducing and differentiating the company’s banking suite of software tools to banks and credit unions. Earlier in his career, he was manager of benchmarking services for DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, where he created and managed the tax benchmarking practice and team. He has also worked as a benchmark analyst for The Hackett Group, where he has started as an account executive.
Jonathan studied marketing at The University of Dayton, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business Administration.
